We are a family business and run three Vietnamese restaurants in Zurich. We stand for an authentic and modern Vietnamese cooking culture.
It all began in 2000 when Nhan Marbacher-Vo opened a small corner restaurant at Schmiede Wiedikon, Petit Saigon was born. Her soups and fresh dishes quickly became well-known in the city - and the queue of diners grew longer and longer. Finally, Zurich also had a place for fresh and inexpensive Vietnamese cuisine.
In 2009, we opened the Saigon. Nhan Marbacher-Vo handed over her knowledge and recipes to her daughter Sabrina, who carried on the tradition and modernised it. She brought new culinary influences, taking the best from the old world and mixing it with the new.
A year later, Chez Nhan Deli was added.
Chez Nhan Deli has been at a new address at Uetlibergstrasse 22 since 2020. The fact that the restaurant is so popular with guests also has to do with the new co-owner Lien Nguyen, who has a gift for constantly reinterpreting and refining authentic dishes.
It is impossible to imagine Zurich's culinary life without our Vietnamese restaurants. We are also present at Christmas markets in the city of Zurich with our soups and dishes. With our catering service, we have supplied many events and family celebrations.
We know no powder soups and no glutamate additives. Everything is freshly prepared every day. When the sun rises over Zurich, our soups and curries are already simmering. Just as we learned from our mothers and grandmothers.
Our principle is: life is too short for bland soups. We hope that you will also join us in our family motto and that we will soon be able to welcome you as our guest.
